Information from website visits

When you visit sekrello.com, your browser sends connection information needed to deliver the pages, including your IP address, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser type. Our web server logs this information. We use these logs to troubleshoot, protect the website from misuse, and produce aggregated visitor statistics, such as how many visits we receive and which pages are viewed.

You can browse without an account. This website does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, and we do not share website logs with analytics or advertising services.

Language preference

When you choose English or Svenska, we save only en or sv in a first-party cookie named sekrello-language for 180 days. We use it solely to remember the language you requested. Automatic selection from your browser language preferences does not create a cookie. You can change your choice using the language links, or remove it by clearing this website’s cookies in your browser. If cookies are blocked, the language links still work, but your choice will not be remembered.

Information you send us

When you email any contact address published on this website, we receive your email address, any name and company details you include, and the contents of your message and attachments. The website’s email links open your email application; they do not submit a form or store your message on this website.

We use our inbox to respond and follow up on your inquiry. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter or add you to an automated marketing list. Providing information is voluntary, but we need a reply address and enough detail to answer your question. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your inquiry.

Why we process personal information

We rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the website, understand how it is used in aggregate, answer questions, and manage business relationships. These interests include protecting our services from misuse and communicating with people who contact us about Sekrello.

Where you personally request steps towards a contract with us, processing necessary for those steps is based on that request. Where applicable, we also retain records to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not use website visits or inquiries for solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Service providers and international transfers

We use a hosting provider in Sweden to operate this website. We use Google Workspace to receive, store, and reply to emails and to manage related documents in Google Drive. These providers process information as needed to deliver their hosting and communication services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

Google and its subprocessors may process emails and related documents outside the EU/EEA. Google’s data processing terms describe the applicable transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where required. Hosting this website in Sweden does not mean that all email processing takes place in Sweden. You can contact us for further information about these safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep closed inquiries for follow-up for up to 12 months after the last substantive correspondence, and delete them sooner when they are no longer needed. This covers general, sales, and support inquiries, including replies and attachments, as well as related copies in Google Drive. If a conversation leads to an ongoing business relationship, we retain only the correspondence needed for that relationship and review it when the relationship ends. Records required for legal obligations or disputes may be kept longer for those purposes.

We keep web server logs for up to 30 days to diagnose faults, detect misuse, and produce aggregated visitor statistics, then delete them. Those statistics do not identify individual visitors. If a log is needed to investigate a specific security incident, we keep the relevant information until that investigation and any resulting legal claims are resolved. Mailbox deletion does not immediately remove every provider backup; provider recovery and backup copies follow the applicable deletion cycles.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion. Depending on the circumstances, you may also request restricted processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive information you have provided in a portable format. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the GDPR.

To exercise your rights, email hello@budeirgroup.com. We may request information needed to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if an extension is permitted and necessary, we will explain why within that month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY, or your local data protection supervisory authority.

Customer-operated Sekrello deployments

Sekrello runs in the customer’s own environment. This website does not receive the application requests processed by those deployments. The organisation operating a deployment is responsible for its use of personal information and its choice of AI providers. Contact that organisation about information processed through its deployment. Any information you send directly to us in business correspondence is covered by this policy.
